The Friends of The Seattle Public Library held their BIG Fall Book Sale over the weekend and it was amazing. Inside Building 30 at Magnuson Park, there were thousands of books, as well as CDs, DVDs, and audio books to buy. Everything was a bargain, as far as my eyes could see. Paperback books, CDs, and DVDs were $1 each, while hardback books were $2 each.
As I walked up and down the aisles, I saw people with armfuls of books, shopping bags overflowing with books, and cardboard boxes full of books. It was a lot of fun and it made me happy to see so many readers. Additionally, I bought 5 books and 2 DVDs, all for $8. What a wonderful weekend!
