As November begins, I am reminded that it is the month for reflecting and gratitude and giving thanks. Even though Thanksgiving is on the 26th this year, we should be grateful all year round. And as we stuff ourselves with turkey, mashed potatoes, and gravy this month, don’t forget all the things to be thankful for.
Here are some quotes to think about:
“As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.”

“Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.”
– Oprah Winfrey
“Not what we say about our blessings, but how we use them, is the true measure of our thanksgiving.”
– W.T. Purkiser
“If you are grateful for everything, then whatever you have is enough.”
– J. Baadsgaard
“Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.”
– William Arthur Ward
“When I started counting my blessings, my whole life turned around.”
– Willie Nelson
“I am grateful for what I am and have. My thanksgiving is perpetual.”
– Henry David Thoreau
“Over and over I marvel at the blessings of my life: Each year has grown better than the last.”
– Lawrence Welk
“Piglet noticed that even though he had a Very Small Heart, it could hold a rather large amount of Gratitude.”
– A.A. Milne, Winnie-the-Pooh
