Anya St. Clair has the job of her dreams as a fashion editor at La Vie. Now she just needs the best friend of her dreams. Sarah Taft is blonde, fashionable, and everything that Anya wants to be and Anya will stop at nothing to be Sarah’s best friend even if she has to kill the competition.
#Fashionvictim is a fun campy romp through the fashion world. This book is entertaining and dark and although it sounds morbid, I really enjoyed reading about a fashion column serial killer. Even though there are people dying in the book, I found myself laughing through most of it. I didn’t think it would be so fun to live in the head of a deranged fashionista.
The book is told from Anya’s point of view so we know what she’s thinking and that she’s pretty much a psychopath. Since we’re in Anya’s head, there aren’t a lot of surprises as we know what’s going to happen.
This book was delightful and I would recommend it.
