The Japanese Garden is located within the Washington Park Arboretum. It is a formal garden consisting of thousands of plants, trees, mosses, and ferns, arranged to represent different scenes found in Japan. The Japanese Garden is a bit on the small side, only 3.5 acres, but it is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy some nature.
If you enjoy Japanese gardens, you should visit Kubota Gardens. It’s way down south, but it’s worth the journey.
