Why do I love to read books? Here are seven reasons why I love to read:
1. There are so many books to read.
There are so many books out there that I will never run out of stories to immerse myself in. It makes me sad that I will never be able to read all the books but I know there will always be something to read.
2. Meeting new characters.
I love meeting new characters and going on adventures with them.
3. Going to new worlds.
One of the best things about books is that they can take you to so many new places. I can go to a magic school, fly on dragons, go to a small town, go to another state, or go to another planet. I can do all of that without leaving the comfortableness of my couch.
4. Getting lost in a good book.
Reading allows me to escape whatever is going on in my life. It helps me to forget and allows my mind to focus on other things than what is happening in real life. I love getting lost in a book and forgetting about everything else until you look up and realize that hours have passed!
5. Learning new things.
I love reading non-fiction books because I can learn about so many things and people and history and places. I’ve learned about pharmaceutical corporations, shipwrecks, and climbing Mount Everest. Reading non-fiction books helps to satisfy my curious nature.
6. When I’m alone by myself.
Of course, we all know that you’re never really alone when you’re reading a good book.
7. For pleasure.
I just love reading. Reading relaxes me and is there anything better than falling asleep while reading a good book?

True! And I love to read as I get to experience things which reality would never give me.
That’s a good reason!
