my 2023 december tbr list.

One of the things I love doing during the holidays is reading holiday books. I adore these cute books that take place during Christmas and have Christmas magic, along with family and friends. I wait all year to read these holiday books during December.

Honestly, I had some difficulty this year finding books to read. Usually, there are too many books and not enough time. But this year when I was reading all the summaries, trying to narrow down my list, all the books kind of just seemed the same. I did manage to find eight books to read this month.

Here is my December TBR list:

1. The Book Club Hotel by Sarah Morgan. Sarah Morgan is my go-to December romance author. I always wait in anticipation for her holiday book.

2. The Trouble with Tinsel by Juliet Giglio and Keith Giglio. This book has both a second chance romance and fake dating and I am here for it!

3. Love, Holly by Emily Stone. Emily Stone’s books always make me cry but it’s okay because they are lovely holiday reads.

4. Wreck the Halls by Tessa Bailey. I’ve never read a Tessa Bailey book so I thought this would be a perfect way to start.

5. Midnight at the Christmas Bookshop by Jenny Colgan. This is a sequel to a book I read a couple of years ago, The Christmas Bookshop, so it is a must-read!

6. A Wish for Christmas by Courtney Cole. This book sounds like it might be a tear-jerker as well.

7. The Twelve Dogs of Christmas by Susan Wiggs. I love dogs so I had to read this book!

8. Murder on the Christmas Express by Alexandra Benedict. I usually read holiday romance books but I saw this book on a list of holiday thriller books and I thought, why not?
