Fall is my favorite season. I love wearing all my layers and scarves, and I can’t wait to snuggle up in a blanket and drink something hot. There’s just something about being bundled up that conveys all the feelings of coziness. And what better time to feel cozy? The leaves are changing colors and falling on the ground and there are decorations everywhere. There are so many things during the fall that I look forward to, but I have some absolute favorite activities that I want to try to accomplish this year.
To celebrate fall, here is my fall bucket list:
1. Make homemade apple cider donuts. This is the number one thing I want to do this season.
2. Make a fall simmer pot. I just want everything to smell like cinnamon and spices.
3. Put out my fall candles. But I also love the candles that smell like pumpkin, or cookies, or both!
4. Go on a ghost tour. Spooky season is the best time to do spooky stuff. Is there anything more spooky than a ghost tour?
5. Watch Practical Magic. This movie completely captures the cozy and nostalgic essence of the season.
6. Make chili. Fall is the best time to make chili, and it’s the perfect food to enjoy as the days grow colder and the nights grow longer.
7. Bake bread. There’s something about baking bread that invokes a feeling of home and comfort, which is what I want to feel this fall.
8. Visit a pumpkin patch. It’s so much fun to see all the pumpkins and to pick out your favorite one.
9. Make some fall decorations. Of course, once you have your pumpkin, you have to include all the other fall decorations.
10. Go on a fall urban hike. What better way to see all your neighbors’ houses decorated for the holidays!
