Fall is here – the coziest season of them all! The air’s a little crisper, my sweaters are coming out of hibernation, and my reading mood has officially shifted to blankets, hot chocolate, and all the spooky vibes. There’s just something about autumn that makes me want to curl up and get lost in a good story. On gray, drizzly afternoons, a good book feels like the perfect kind of escape. So today, I’m sharing my fall TBR. Here are the books I can’t wait to read.
1. Spells for Forgetting by Adrienne Young. This book promises folklore, magic, a mysterious death, and plenty of spooky feelings.
2. Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil by V.E. Schwab. The only thing I can say about this one is Vampires!
3. The Last Days of Lilah Goodluck by Kylie Scott. This book looks quirky and charming, and a rom com is just the thing to read on a rainy day.

4. If It Makes You Happy by Julie Olivia. The cover of this book is the epitome of fall.
5. The Thirteenth Child by Erin A. Craig. The main character in this one is the goddaughter of Death.
6. An Academy for Liars by Alexis Henderson. I think fall is the perfect time to read dark academia.
7. Clown Town by Mick Herron. Ok, not a spooky book or what you would consider a comfort read, but I had to add it to my list. This book is the next in the Slough House series. I’ve read all the books and have been waiting for this one to see what River Cartwright and Jackson Lamb have been up to.
And that’s my fall TBR. I don’t know if I’ll actually make it through all of them (does anyone ever?), but I’m going to try! Here’s to getting lost in good stories all season long.

I’m genuinely thinking of adding “ If It Makes You Happy” to my cart. I can’t get over that cover art! There’s no way going back to Autumn 1997 can be bad.
It’s so pretty!
Nice selection! Bury Our Bones is on my TBR too.
