If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ll know that one of my guilty pleasures during the holidays is watching Hallmark Channel holiday movies. They’re lighthearted, always end with a happily-ever-after, and at least one character will be wearing clothing not appropriate for winter weather. Bonus points if the movie takes place in Alaska, and yet the sun is shining bright at 8 am.
Here are the Hallmark Channel holiday movies I am looking forward to watching this year:
Christmas Above the Clouds. This movie looks like it’s a take on A Christmas Carol!
Three Wisest Men. Boy, Hallmark is sure cashing in on this movie series. But they’ve got me hooked. I watched Three Wise Men and a Baby and Three Wiser Men and a Baby, and I’ll for sure be watching this one as well.
We Met in December. This movie reminds me of Serendipity.
The Snow Must Go On. I would watch this movie purely for the pun in the title.
An Alpine Holiday. I bet this movie has great scenery.
Christmas at the Catnip Cafe. I’m just watching this for the cats.
Single on the 25th. We all know that no one is single on December 25th in a Hallmark movie, but I would still watch this one.
She’s Making a List. I keep changing my mind on whether I’m a fan of Lacey Chabert or not, but the plot of this movie looks so cute – she’s an inspector whose job it is to determine if a child should be on the nice or naughty list.
Twelve Dates ‘Til Christmas. This technically isn’t a movie, but rather a series. I’m hoping there are twelve episodes, one for each date. This series also sounds like a book I read, The 12 Dates of Christmas by Jenny Bayliss. I liked the book, so hopefully I’ll like this series!
A Suite Holiday Romance. Another pun in the title! And this movie involves mistaken identities, a classic romance trope.

Sounds like fun! Those suits the Three Wisest Men are wearing are wild!
Aren’t they? I can’t tell which one I like best!
“I’m just watching this for the cats” 😂 well, I am now too, friend.
