This season, I’ve been noticing the little things that make me smile. Joy doesn’t always come from big moments; sometimes it’s found in everyday details. Here are a few things that have been bringing me joy lately:
Festive pajamas.
My festive pajamas provide just the right sprinkle of holiday magic. Every time I put them on, I can’t help but smile. There’s something about cozy fabric and cheerful patterns that instantly puts me in a festive mood.
My winter coffee tumbler.
I love using my winter coffee tumbler during the colder months. Seeing those penguins bundled up in hats and earmuffs makes me so happy while I sip my coffee. Just about every barista who sees it comments on how cute it is.
Sunny winter walks.
On those random sunny winter days, I love going for a long walk. The crisp air, the bright sun, and the quiet calm of the season feel so refreshing, especially if I’m holding something warm in my hands.
Embracing the cozy.
You know I love being cozy. Wrapping up in blankets, lighting a candle, turning on the lights on my tree, and snuggling on the couch is one of my favorite ways to spend an evening. It’s simple, comforting, and exactly what I need this time of year.
DIY holiday decorations.
This year, I decided to make some of my own holiday decorations, and it’s been such a joy. I crocheted snowflakes to hang from the ceiling, and they are so cute. I love the personal touch that homemade items can bring to a space.
This season has been a good reminder that joy can be found everywhere. Sometimes all it takes is slowing down enough to notice those moments.

These all sound like lovely ways to enjoy the holidays. I love sitting and watching the lights on my Christmas tree.
The lights everywhere are one of my favorite things about the holidays.
