Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
This week’s topic is Quotes From/About Books. There are endless ways to talk about books, but sometimes a well-chosen quote says it best. I’ve written a couple of blog posts about bookish quotes before: 10 quotes/from books and 10 quotes/for book lovers, but there are always more quotes out there waiting to be found. I’ve collected 10 more quotes below that celebrate reading, remind us why we read, and why we return to stories again and again.
Here are 10 more fun quotes about books and reading:
1. “Books are a uniquely portable magic.” – Stephen King.

4. “Few things leave a deeper mark on the reader than the first book that finds its way into his heart.” – Carlos Ruiz Zafon.
5. “My personal hobbies are reading, listening to music, and silence.” – Edith Sitwell.
