Here is my monthly wrap up of some of the things I’ve watched, eaten or drank, or just loved for the month of October. Happy Halloween!
What I’m watching:
Earlier this year I watched the first season of The Masked Singer on the Fox channel. I loved it. I thought it was so fun and entertaining. Season 2 started last month and I’ve been watching, trying to guess who the masked singers are. I think this show is fascinating.
I love the costumes that the singers wear – whoever the costume person is, they definitely deserve some awards. The judges are hilarious as well. Even though I laugh at all of their guesses because I think they are so far off, I still enjoy hearing their commentary and listening to what they have to say. After the episodes air, I like to go online and see who the public thinks the singers are. Some people have some great guesses! I have some of my own guesses as to who a couple of the singers are but I’ll wait until they are unmasked to see if I am correct.
What I’m eating:
It’s the Halloween season so of course I’ve been eating Halloween candy. While Reese’s will always be my number 1 candy (I think the Reese’s pumpkins are the best of the lot), a lot of the other candy I like only comes out around Halloween. I’m not going to lie – I like candy corn (but only the regular candy corn, not that harvest candy corn). My other Halloween candy go-tos are smarties and tootsie rolls. For some reason, it seems like those candies only seem to come out around Halloween. That’s fine by me though, it just means I have to stock up once a year.
What I’m loving:
I’m loving 2 things this month. First, the weather is starting to get colder so you know what that means – it’s finally scarf weather. I’ve been getting out my scarves from where they were packed away from summer and I have been wearing them all the time. There’s just something about the crisp air and being cozy warm in a scarf that makes me feel great.
Second, did you see this image that NASA posted of a jack-o-lantern sun? How crazy and so fitting for the month of October?? It definitely made me smile.
See you next month!
