It’s crazy to think that the new year will begin in a couple of days. It feels like the year goes by so slowly and then December is super quick and now all of a sudden it’s the end of the year. I feel like we are finally pulling out of the Covid fog and things are getting back to how they were a few years ago. Here are some highlights from my past year.
In 2022 I:
- went to Disneyworld
- ran two 5ks – Beat the Bridge and Jingle Bell Run
- survived having Covid
- found a new favorite coffee shop
- drank way too many caramel lattes
- upped my working from home situation by buying a new desk
- but also started going to the office four days a week
- got sucked into buying Olive and June nail polish (I love it!)
- tried out a new coffee subscription
- traveled with friends to Montreal and Quebec City
- walked hundreds of miles all around Seattle
- starting knitting a shawl and a pair of socks
- read 74 books (so far)
- did NOT have to have a root canal (but maybe next year? It’s still up in the air)
- went to Ocean Shores twice
- tried to go on a cabin weekend
- got hooked on Wordle
- took a bread-making class at Whisk
- lost my luggage on my trip to CA (but got it back after four days)
- went to the Urban Craft Uprising craft show
- listened to hundreds of hours of podcasts
Happy New Year!
